“Patterns Coming From China” explores how traditional Chinese patterns can be used in future communication methods.

The designer Ye’er Shi had designed 12 more traditional Chinese patterns:

dragon, phoenix, tiger, snake, bat, peony, narcissus, lotus, plum blossom, circle, rectangle, and triangle.

This book takes clothing design as an example and applies these 12 redesigned traditional Chinese patterns to clothing so that clothing is no longer just an object to cover the body but will become a medium for future communication.
