Drawing pictures for the ordinary people as the Magic Brush enlightens people the existence of happiness in life.
I have studied Chinese painting for 6 years. I love Chinese painting in that it can make rivers and mountains flow on paper. So when I was little, I had a naïve dream to be Ma Liang, whose paintings make everything real. He only draws for good kinds without greed. His paintings are green trees and water, splendid mountains telling people life is beautiful and happy.
This project has two parts:

Inspiration: Chinese old myth The Magic Brush
A long time ago, there was a boy called Ma Liang,who really loved painting,and he got no money to pay for the brushes and paper for his poverty.Thus, he painted on the sandy ground all the time.Eventually,his persistence moved the Buddha,the Buddha gave Ma Liang a brush,which could let him paint anything and make it come to live.
However this thing was picked up by the bad emperor,so the emperor wanted Ma Liang to draw a treasure island for him.Nevertheless,Ma Liang was clever ,he knew the emperor was cormorant,so he pretended to follow the order to draw the treasure island and then he drew a big ocean and storm to let the fleets and emperor sink into the deep ocean in the end.At last,Ma Liang back to his village and just painted for the poor people as well as lead a peaceful and happy life.

The meaning of the contents:
The old myth The Magic Brush is retold in digital way.
Boy Ma Liang, born in a poor family, loves drawing. His passion for painting deeply moves God,who gives Ma Liang a magic brush which can make everything he draws becomes realities.
This magic brush thing finally be heard of by the emperor. But the emperor is a greedy man,who commands Ma Liang to draw a gold mountain and a silver mountain.However,smart Ma Liang draws an ocean right after finishing drawing gold and silver mountains, which burns out the emperor’s ships driven to the treasures.
Finally, Ma Liang goes back to his peaceful life. He only uses the magic brush for poor people.

SUMMARY:
The mountain ranges accumulated by over- lapped triangles appear, which mapping makes a living object. The overlapped triangles are in- terpreting the repeat life paces of working from the sunrise till to the sunset. From these two parts, happiness is brought out in plain life.
